Mount Kilimanjaro Fundraising Climb
Lesley and Helen are taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on 30th September, 2023 to raise much needed funds for The Windmill Trust.

This brave pair are working mums, committed to supporting children's mental health. Lesley is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist and Chair of The Windmill Trust, and Helen is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

They are currently training hard in preparation for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, a dormant volcano in Tanzania, which will take them 7 days along a 37 mile route.

Please support Lesley and Helen, on behalf of The Windmill Trust, in this amazing endeavour by donating via our Just Giving page.

Reflections: a collection of poetry,
Amanda Ducksbury

The Windmill Trust is proud to share this wonderful book of poetry. The author, Amanda Ducksbury, has kindly offered to share a percentage of any book sales with our charity.

Amanda finds inspiration for her poetry in the beautiful landscapes of Cumbria and strongly believes writing about nature benefits wellbeing and mental health.

"My continued journey along life's bumpy road hasn't been easy. I hope that by writing my new collection of poems, it will inspire others to achieve their dreams, no matter what is thrown in their way. Hopefully, by doing so, I can give something back in life by sharing what I see and feel when out in nature. I hope this will help others who are struggling too."

Reflections: a collection of poetry is available from all good bookstores and online at Amazon.co.uk
